Running free

Set to The Chase, a piano piece about a saluki’s love of running and the wind in his ears.

Coming home

We met him on Saturday 27 February 2021 and took him home with us. He was four.

His last afternoon

He died at 3.15 in the afternoon, on a walk, running beside his two horse friends. He had a heart attack and it was quick. It was two days before his tenth birthday.

He was otherwise in excellent health and had never had any health problems. It was so sudden that there were no goodbyes, and we are heartbroken.

Remembering Sagi

If you knew Sagi, or met him along the way, you are welcome to leave a few words for him. Messages appear here once we have read them.
